Zhangye Danxia Scenic is located in the north of Qilian Mountains, 30 km to the east of Zhangye and 20 km to the south of Linze.The average altitude of the spot is about 1800 m and the total area is ​​about 510 square kilometers. Zhangye Danxia Scenic is the most typically developed Danxia landscape in China's northern arid areas and the only combination of Danxia and color hilly landscapeIt is the essence of Zhangye Danxia Geopark, being the national geological park and the national 3A scenic spot.It has been awarded the most beautiful of the seven Danxia Landscapes in China,the most beautiful of China's six strange landforms and one of the world 10 geographical wonder. It is amazing for its color,complex,and spectacularity.It ranks first for its bright color,beauty and large area. It is of very high scientific and ornamental value.

Investment and Benefit: The total investment is 520 million. Following the concept of the breakdown of the investmentand independent operating, 200 million has been invested recently.The average annual operating income is 30 million yuan while the period of return is 6 years.

Project Progress: The overall planning of Danxia Scenic, the detailed construction planning,and infrastructure completed, initial reception capacity achieved.
